NATIONAL ORAL PATHOLOGIST DAY 2025

The Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology at Maratha Mandal’s Nathajirao G. Halgekar Institute of Dental Sciences and Research Centre, Belagavi celebrated National Oral Pathologist Day to mark birth anniversary of Dr H.M. Dholakia Sir on 25^th February 2025. On this occasion, Department organizedanonline guest lecture titled “Integrating theory and clinical practice, analytical thinking in Oral Biology & Pathology”. The Guest speaker for theevent was Dr. Suma S, Reader, Department of Oral Pathology, R V Dental College, Bengaluru. The programme commenced with Vice Principal, Dr Preeti Kusugal inaugurating the ceremony along with administrative inhcarge Dr. Puspha Pudakalkatti and  AcademicIncharge Dr. V M Uppin.

Dr Vijaylakshmi Kotrashetti welcome the gathering. Ms. Maaz  was felicitated for scoring highest marks in the subject of Dental Anatomy and Dental Histology and Ms. Amba Kamat  was felicitated for scoring highest marks in Oral Pathology and Microbiology respectively. Students from I, II & III BDS attend the event.
