CONSERVATIVE DENTISTRY AND ENDODONTICS

Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics is one of the fastest growing specialties. The department is involved in various activities like teaching and training programmes for students, seminars, discussion and well scheduled lectures. The department is equipped with Electronic Chairs, Amalgamator, High Speed Airrotor, Light Cure Units and other specialized instruments like Radiovisiography (RVG), Rotary Endodontic instruments and with latest dental materials.

The department has an efficient faculty who carry out all the treatment aspects like Restorative Procedures, Esthetic Treatment, Advanced Endodontic treatment and the preventive measures to control the progress of diseases. We also practice cosmetic dentistry, which renders a confident smile to the patients.

The department also has a pre-clinical phantom head laboratory where the students are trained thoroughly to improve the skills before entering the clinics. The student’s knowledge is enhanced with modern advancements in this field.

The student is taught Dental Materials in the I year and pre-clinical operative dentistry in the II year. Students get a hands-on experience in endodontic procedures in the III, IV & the V year.
