GENERAL MEDICINE

The Department of general medicine is concerned with training the students in diagnosing and having a working knowledge of treatment plans of systemic diseases. It is full fledged with qualified, experienced staff involved in teaching and guiding the students. The department is attached to Kasbekar Metgud Clinic, Belgaum for its clinical work. In addition the department also manages the medical emergencies which might occur at various dental departments. Contribution to the community service is also a highlight with all the medical camps and awareness programmes. The department aims to have a mobile van with medical OPD to take the medical care closer to the rural areas.
